Dissent · Wed, Sep 9, 2026 (most recent trading day) · posted 1:20 PM ET

One stock a day where insiders, the crowd, the headlines and our model disagree.

Each trading day, right after we publish our daily stock picks, we take the pick where two of the four voices are furthest apart, show where each stands, and at the 4:00 PM ET close (1:00 PM on early-close days) we mark who was right.

NESR: insiders are selling while the crowd is bullish

Four voices, one question: does NESR close up or down today?

National Energy Services Reunited Corp.. #2 of our 3 picks today, and the one where the voices split widest.

How a card is made

  1. Each trading day at 1:30 PM ET we publish our daily stock picks (Today’s picks). Right after, we read four voices on every pick: insider and Congress filings (last 45 days), StockTwits posts with a bull or bear tag (today), news headlines scored positive or negative (last 7 days) and our model (analyst ratings + social sentiment).
  2. The pick where two voices disagree most becomes the card. A voice with no data is shown as no data, never guessed. If no pick has two voices on opposite sides, we post the first pick where the voices with data agree, say so, and score it anyway; there is no side to pick.
  3. The card is frozen the moment it is posted. Nothing is rewritten afterwards.
  4. At the 4:00 PM ET close (1:00 PM on early-close days) the day’s move decides: a finish above the previous close means the up side was right, below means the down side; under 0.15% either way is a tie and nobody scores.
